Business & Marketing

A guide to all aspects of Business, including Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Company/Industry Data and Statistics.

APA Style

Many Business professors at Augsburg specify APA style for papers and citations.

How to Cite Business Sources

Citing business sources in your bibliography can be confusing, but there are some general guidelines you should follow:

  • When citing from a library database, include the database name.
  • When citing directly from a website or a wiki, include the URL.
  • When there is no exact date, or when the content changes frequently (such as a wiki, a directory, etc.), include the date you retrieved the material.

Here are some examples. All are from the APA 6th Edition.
