- Language in SocietyLanguage in Society is an international journal of sociolinguistics concerned with language and discourse as aspects of social life. The journal publishes empirical articles of general theoretical, comparative or methodological interest to students and scholars in sociolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, and related fields. Contains some open access articles.
- OPUSOPUS is a collection of open parallel corpora in many languages. It provides bilingually aligned data sets, interfaces, tools and more. This source could be helpful to those interested in comparative literature.
Search Strategies
You can find relevant materials by using a number of different keywords. When searching through databases, try out multiple keywords to see what gets you the results you want. Using " " around phrases with multiple words will keep concepts together (so you don't get results that only include "cross-cultural" or "studies", for example).
