The Book of Rules: A Visual Guide to the Laws of Every Commonly Played Sport and Game by Call Number: Reference GV731 .B56 1998This illustrated guide includes easy-to-understand sport essentials as well as official rules, positions, skills, tactics, equipment, and more.
Sports Rules Encyclopedia by Call Number: Reference GV731 .S75 1990Find the official rules, playing area specifications, and necessary equipment for 52 sports, along with explanations of technical terms. While this is a good resource, because it is an older book (1990), you may want to find the governing body listed at the end of each entry and search for its website to find the most up-to-date rules.
