This style guide includes offensive terms to avoid, Directory of Community Resources, to assist journalists in responsible reporting of LGBT people and issues. Updated 2010.
- Glossary of Gender and Transgender Terms (Fenway Health)Fenway Health is a leader in providing trans* health services. Their resource guide is directed at healthcare providers, and not exhaustive, but it offers reputable definitions.
- LGBTQ+ Terms (University of Massachusetts)The University of Massachusetts provides a list of terms that is extensive, but not exhaustive.
- LGBTQ Glossary (Michigan State University)Michigan State provides a list of terminology that is extensive but not comprehensive.
