- The Nonpartisan League 1915-1922: An Annotated Bibliogrpahy by Call Number: HD 1485 N4 C64 1985The guide is very useful for locating primary sources and secondary sources on the Nonpartisan League. Be aware, everything might not be locally available!

Newspapers are a rich source of information on Minnesota's history. These online databases are open-source and full-text.
- Historical Minneapolis Tribune (1867-1922)The Minneapolis Tribune is a good source for information on early Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota. It is one of the states oldest daily newspapers. Searching is a bit clunky but worth the effort.
- Minneapolis Journal 1888-1939First published as the Evening Journal in 1878, it was eventually acquired by Hershel Jones who gained the support of Minneapolis business interests and instrumental in developing the market page which documented the importance of Minnesota as a major wheat producer and Minneapolis as the milling center of the nation.
- The Minneapolis Labor ReviewThis searchable archive includes all issues of the Labor Review published from April 1907 through May 2004. If you are researching labor history in Minneapolis or in Minnesota-you must search this newspaper!
- Minnesota Digital Newspaper HubThe Minnesota Digital Newspaper Hub is a searchable website of Minnesota Newspapers. The earliest dates are from 1856, but coverage is limited by copyright.

- Winona Newspaper ProjectThe Winona Newspaper project includes the full text for the following newspapers: The Winona Argus; The Winona Daily Republican; The Winona Republican-Herald; The Winona Daily News. Coverage ranges from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century.
- Daily Globe (Saint Paul, Minn.) 1880-1884The Daily Globe, The St. Paul Daily Globe and the St. Paul Globe all provide coverage of local, state, national and international events. Searching the Globe, the Daily Globe, and the St. Paul Globe is clunky!
